For nearly five years Dara was commercial disputes associate at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP, where he developed a broad commercial practice with a particular emphasis on civil fraud, banking and energy disputes, working with partners including Philip Croall, Chris Pugh, Nigel Rawding QC, James Kennedy and Geoff Nicholas.
He represented a wide range of blue-chip clients and managed several high-profile matters for the firm, notably including the long-running and famously complex Ablyazov receivership.
He left Freshfields to undertake pupillage at Twenty Essex, where he continued to build his practice in international civil fraud, banking and energy litigation and arbitration.
He joins Joseph Hage Aaronson as a high profile acquisition for their leading disputes practice.
When considering a chambers move with my team, I met with all the major players in the industry. Guy and Tony were our clear preferred choice.
They were authentic in their approach, challenged us when they felt it necessary and ultimately delivered a seamless service. Most importantly they showed complete discretion, which was for us the most important criteria.
Their reputation for being leaders in their field is well deserved and I would not hesitate to recommend them to others.
